Gizmo is a cross platform (Linux, Windows and Mac) VoIP client. It uses your internet connection (broadband or dial-up) to make calls to other computers. With the click of a mouse, you’re connected to friends, family, and colleagues anywhere on earth. It’s just that simple. You talk clearly. For as long as you want. For free.
And with inexpensive add-ons like Call In and Call Out, you can talk to any telephone–mobile or landline–on the planet.
How it works:
- Gizmo to Gizmo calls: Any call from a Gizmo user to another Gizmo user is free. No matter when, no matter where, no matter how long. There’s no monthly service charge. Nor is there a set up cost.
- Calling landlines and mobile phones:With Call Out, you can call any landline or mobile phone with super cheap Call Out Credits i.e 1.0 cents a minute. Enter any number into Gizmo Project and dial away. It rings like a normal phone, sounds like a normal phone.
You only pay for the call you make. There are no monthly fees, no connection fees, and all billing is per minute.
- Receiving calls from mobile phones and landlines: If you want to receive calls from mobile phones and landlines? With Gizmo Call In, for as little as $35/year (roughly $3/mo), you can have a phone number in over 50 cities in the US and UK., and your Call In number goes with you wherever you roam.
- Area775 – Free U.S. based telephone number:An Area775 number is a lot like a Call In number. It allows you to receive calls from regular landlines and mobiles. For features details….
