Getting Started With Project Server 2010 and Team Foundation Server 2010 Community Technology Preview (CTP)

Microsoft recently released the first CTP showcasing integration between Project Server 2010 and Team Foundation Server 2010, that enable Project Management Office (PMO) to see a consolidated view of progress and resource availability across all software development projects in TFS.

Unfortunately, CTP is a whopping 26 files weighing in at over 20GB— available as pre-configured HyperV VM, so once you’ve the VM you can kick start. I’ve created a single short URL combining all 26 links, and another one is Text file, which if you’re using Download Manager, can be used to import all download links. Once you’ve the CTP, follow the instructions for extracting it, adding it within Hyper-V, and running four walkthroughs which showcase the functionality enabled by this integration.
