Flash Player 3D and API sessions at Adobe Max 2010

Adobe product manager Thibault Imbert confirms that “Adobe is taking a serious note at bringing 3D support to a “future version” of Flash. According to Imbert, the “next generation” API will be “big”, but he wouldn’t be drawn on what kind of API Adobe will provide.

“At Adobe MAX conference, in October, the company will talk about it, in a session entitled “Flash Player 3D Future” and will provide a “deep dive into the next-generation 3D API coming in a future version of Flash Player” for attendees, with “exciting new APIs,” “demos never shown before” and “some exclusive content” to be shown.
