After the demand of “panic button”, Facebook now have unveiled a new “Safety Center,” which offers new safety resources for parents, educators, teens and members of the law enforcement community. “When you go to new Safety Center, you’ll see content organized by audience type and by topics such as “Addressing Personal Safety” and “Responding to Objectionable Content.” Parents will find special content in “Safety for Parents” section with advice from our partner and member of our Safety Advisory Board, Common Sense Media. “General Safety” section encompasses most of the information listed in other categories, the latter of which’s tailored to specific Facebook user groups. “safety for teens” section contains mostly same content as the general section, but has been tailored to teens in such a matter that makes it easy for them to relate with understand. Finally, “Safety for Law Enforcers” assists law enforcement officials with reporting suspected sex offenders and terrorist activity on Facebook,” revealed Facebook.
