To help businesses grow internationally, Facebook has couple of new resources and solutions from wherever they are.
First up, a new feature in the Lookalike Audiences tool is launched today to help advertisers reach customers [who are similar to existing ones] in new countries (regional, specific country, or worldwide).
To use this enhanced feature, users can simply upload a list of their existing customers and or high-potential leads.
In addition, extended location targeting capabilities are now avilable to those advertisers with objectives of a website conversion or mobile app install. They can now select a worldwide region or trade zone. Facebook said, it’ll then “deliver adverts to selected regions” and then “optimise delivery to the countries with the greatest return.”
Additionally, Facebook also introduces a handbook on finding the right customers in new countries. These new solutions will help businesses optimise their global campaign strategy, including webinars on international marketing, noted social network company.
Facebook aIso revealed some global stats saying:
- by 2018, an estimated 2.3 billion people will be using Internet on their mobile phones.
- more than 1 billion Facebook users are connected to at least one business in a foreign country.
- and 1.57 billion users visit Facebook monthly on mobile.
- 60% of U.S. Facebook users are connected to a business in a foreign country.
Businesses are already using Facebook to expand globally. Counting on the success of its enhanced Lookalike Audiences tool, social network company citing an example noted, that using the new enhanced tool to find customers in new countries, “Modanisa, a Turkish fashion start-up got a return on investment that was 4x higher than its previous campaigns.”
