Facebook ‘Like’ Button Making Contents Go ‘Viral’ – How To Add Facebook ‘Like’ Button Making On WordPress and Google Blogger (BlogSpot.com) Blogs

Facebook recently announced that over “350,000 websites worldwide are now using Facebook’s social plugins”– of which “Like” button is the most familiar. “This information ties in to another fun fact “Nearly 65 million users “Like” something through Facebook every single day”. With over 500 million active users and counting!, and with each user having, on average, 130 friends – there’s a vast audience for the right content to go viral.”

If you might want to consider adding “Like” to your website or blog. Here’s Self-hosted WordPressers can get Facebook “Like” plugin, or generate an HTML code here, copy & paste into your template you like the button to appear.

And Google’s Blogger users:

  1. Login to Blogger Account, then go to Design —> Edit HTML, click on the check box “Expand Widget Templates”
  2. Look for <data:post.body/> and immediately after that place following code:

  3. Save template and you should see “Like Button” below each on your posts. To display it everywhere, remove “first & last lines”
  4. Customization:
    • Change action=like to action=recommend
    • Change colors: colorscheme=light to colorscheme=dark or colorscheme=evil
    • Change font: font=arial to:
      • font=lucida+grande
      • font=segoe+ui
      • font=tahoma
      • font=trebuchet+ms
      • font=verdana

Also, Google recently added social sharing buttons with nice roll over. And, you may also like to test Twitter’s official “Tweet Buttons” – if you’ve not already done yet.
