Facebook will soon be roling out ways for people and businesses to communicate effectively and easily, announced social network company.
The announcement was made at the Facebook Communities Summit at its Menlo Park, headquarters that will enable easy connecting through messaging and groups on its platform.
Instagram Direct Messages in Facebook Page Inbox
With the Instagram DM and Messenger integration, Facebook will allow businesses to receive and respond to customer messages across the platforms using a single application.
Businesses can now receive and respond direct messages from Facebook Page Inbox on desktop and mobile using Pages Manager app.
According to Facebook, 150 million people on Instagram have a conversation with a business every month. While, Messenger exchanges 10 billion messages between customers and businesses every month.
With that volume, this integration will ensure businesses respond quicker, while also ensuring they never miss a message from their customer.
This feature is planned to be launched over the coming weeks to businesses in the US and Brazil.

Pages Can Now Participate in Groups
Facebook pages already capable of creating groups are now getting a new way communicate.
Facebook will over the coming weeks will enable pages to participate in groups as well as join community discussions.
This feature aims to help more than 90 million businesses and non-profits of all sizes.
In addition to DM and Messenger integration and new Pages feature, Facebook also has rolled out a new pilot program enabling groups and brands to collaborate.
And, it has now expanded subscription groups to more partners along with enabling relevant pages to join their communities.
