Compatibility with Expanded Text Ads is coming to Bing Network to will provide an improved text ad experience that provides more information to the customer about their destination. For advertisers, “this means more clicks, increased click-through-rates and more customer traffic to your website,” the team notes.
Expanded Text Ads, always mobile optimized gives greater control over ad text and help to create more compelling call to actions for consumers and drive higher conversions to your business. “It works seamlessly on mobile, tablet and desktop devices so you can focus more on crafting your longer ad copy and optimizing your ad text to better engage your customers before they click your ad,” explains the Bing team.
Expanded Text Ads was previewed at the Bing Ads Quarterly API Call on June 7 2016, the team is working closely with its Partners (including tool providers and API partners) to ensure full support of their tools of Expanded Text Ads before the end of summer 2016.
“The new ad formats are designed to take advantage of all the real estate on the Bing search result pages,” said Bing.

In addition, Bing Ads will also be introducing Shared Budgets to simplify manage daily budget!
Shared Budgets is being developed for all Bing Ads applications, including the Web UI, API, Editor and mobile apps. “This will enable you to stop having to spend a lot of time setting up and recalculating individual campaign budgets,” the team noted.
Benefits of Using Shared Budget include:
- “Have a single budget that can be used by all campaigns under or by a subgroup of campaigns under an account.
- Reduce time spent manually calculating how to allocate budget individually amongst a significant number of campaigns.
- Optimize your unutilized budget by having Bing Ads automatically allocate remaining budget to campaigns that are performing well.”
