Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2010: Scheduling Meetings with Room Finder

Exchange 2010 and Outlook 2010, introduces a new feature called “Room Finder,” that “allows meeting organizers an ability to quickly find available conference room in desired location. Without overhead of searching through GAL trying to locate room, or trying to remember conference room name. As you can see (pic) below, users scheduling meetings can now easily find room in just couple steps: Select your desired meeting time and date; Select location/building for meeting; Select available room. That’s it! Room Finder remembers previous building list you used and places it at top of the list for easy access on your next meeting request. Well, creating & maintaining Room Lists are as easy as using feature in Outlook 2010! A matter of fact, you’ve probably already been using some of same tools room lists use. Since Room Lists are specially marked distribution groups they use same tools that you’re using to manage your distribution groups,” explain Microsoft.
