Evoluce Beta SDK for Kinect Released – Free for ‘Non-commercial’ Application Developers

EvoluceAfter, Microsoft’s official release of the Windows Kinect SDK Beta 2, Evoluce, has now realased a beta SDK that will work with Microsoft’s motion controller camera/sensor.

Microsoft’s second beta release earlier this month added some new features such as “faster skeletal tracking, better accuracy rate when it comes to skeletal tracking and joint recognition, and the ability to plug and unplug your Kinect without losing work/productivity.”

“Software by Evoluce for the Kinect sensor changes the way we work, live and play. You can control thousands of applications with the wave of a hand without using a controller. Connect your PC with the Kinect sensor and start using many opportunities of motion sensing now,” said Evoluce.

The SDK, which only works with Windows 7-based PCs, is free to download for “non-commercial” applications.
