Embedded Video with Link plugin lets you embed videos from youtube, google, sevenload, clipfish and myvideo into your WordPress blog posts. You can also add the video link as well.
Installation & useage:
- Download Embedded Video with Link, and extract to a local folder.
- Upload embedded-video.php file to wp-content/plugins/ folder.
- Activate from Plugins page in WordPress Admin panel.
To include a video simply insert one of the following codes into your post:
[youtube id thing][google id thing][sevenload id thing][clipfish id thing][myvideo id thing]
A flash player then gets embedded into the blog post, and the video with the ID from the specified video portal. The “thing” string can be a string of your very own choice and is added to the Linktext below the flash player. Space is allowed in the “thing” string.
Example: By typing in “[youtube 83FWE2qBudU fight]” the YouTube video with ID “83FWE2qBudU” is shown and below a link to that video with the linktext “YouTube Direktfight”. You can also skip the “thing” string (eg “[youtube 83FWE2qBudU]”), the result will be generated correctly anyway (without any “thing”, of course).
If you don’t want to show the link, just insert “nolink” after the ID, eg [youtube 83FWE2qBudU nolink]. That way, only the video will be shown.
