Microsoft On September 3, published a document “Description of Support for the Windows Azure Platform” designed to provide insight into the all Windows Azure subscriptions support channels and associated documentation for its Windows Azure Cloud platform.
The document covers not only Windows Azure, but also SQL Azure, Windows Azure AppFabric and Windows Azure Data Market, according to the Redmond company.
“The Microsoft Services Support for Azure team is committed to helping subscriber organizations quickly and efficiently resolve issues that their users might encounter with the Windows Azure Platform,” the Redmond company revealed.
Windows Azure customers can get both technical and non-technical support from Microsoft. 24×7 global assistance is available only in English from company centers in India, Europe, and North America.
Microsoft said that following four Windows Azure support channels are available:
- Self-help Support: Support documentation
- Forums: Community support
- Assisted Support
- Subscription Management Support. Assisted support for setup, provisioning, billing, pre-sales, and sales
- Technical Support – Service and Development Support issues: assisted support for technical issues associated with development, testing, deployment, and production on the Windows Azure platform; specialized developer resources
