Google offers three translating services ‘Google Translate, Google Translator Toolkit, and Google Docs,’, but none of them works well with Microsoft Office. DocTranslator is a service that instantly translate and preserve the layout of Office documents using the Google Translate API. Unlike Google Docs, DocTranslator isn’t limited to Microsoft Word documents that’ve less than 500 KB and it works for Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations, as well, and supports translations to and from more than 50 languages. “DocTranslator uses a Java applet to upload the files and it translates them using Google Translate’s API. Doc Translator uses the processing power of your own computer to extract only the text from your large documents (MBs) into a very small data package (KBs) which can esily be sent over any network.
