Google introduces two new improvements to Blogger’s comments system:
In addition to exisiting, “enable moderation or required word verification or login”, Google now integrated Comment Spam Filtering into Blogger. In Comments tab, you’ll find “Spam” sub-tab that shows all likely spam — and allow you to delete, mark as Not Spam to “false-positives”.
Comments “Inbox” show you all comments published on your blog. In Comments | Published sub-tab, you can select comments and mark them as spam or delete them. When you mark a comment as Spam, it’ll be deleted immediately. You can also Delete comments for editorial reasons or just Remove Content to leave a record of the comment.
Comment moderation has also moved under the Comments tab and has been extended to allow you to mark comments as Spam.
