Chrome 12.0.742.91 Stable Release Lands with ‘Hardware Accelerated 3D CSS,LSO Deletion,Removed Gears’ and More! – Aardman Studio’s “Shaun the Sheep” Clips

The Google Chrome team today released the Chrome 12 to the Stable Channel for all platforms. With this Chrome 12.0.742.91 now includes a number of new features and updates, brings improvements in security, privacy, and graphics to Chrome’s 160 million users including:

  • Hardware accelerated 3D CSS
  • New Safe Browsing protection against downloading malicious files
  • Ability to delete Flash cookies from inside Chrome
  • Launch Apps by name from the Omnibox
  • Integrated Sync into new settings pages
  • Improved screen reader support
  • New warning when hitting Command-Q on Mac
  • Removal of Google Gears

In this simple experiment, you can rotate the video, scale it up and down, toggle the reflection on and off, and activate a rotating carousel of videos. Of course, you can also just enjoy the animated antics of a few funny animals.
