Bump app that lets you share photos and Address Book info, become instant friends on Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn, and even transfer money via PayPal, now allows you to exchange music. With latest Bump for iOS, you can pick any song in your iTunes library and send it to a friend via Bump. Bumping a song just lets your friend stream the entire track via YouTube or click an iTunes “buy” link.
Bump 2.1 for iPhones features includes.
- Photo Multipicker: iPhone Bump users can select 1, 2, or a whole album of photos to bump to your friend! (Hint: Make sure your location services are turned on when you bump photos, it’ll be much more successful!)
- Pinch and zoom capability enabled in photo viewer. You can also view your photos in landscape!
- Location snapshot: you can send your friend a Google maps snapshot of your current location in the chat screen.
Unfortunately, sharing your music files themselves won’t fly for Bump under Apple’s current terms of service and developer APIs, so users will’ve to make due with the clever YouTube streaming and iTunes Music Store combo.
An updated Bump for Android is still in the works.
