Twitter globally unveiling a new and easier way to help people share and save tweets for later reference when you don’t have time to fully explore.
The new feature launching today globally is called “Bookmarks,” that give users an easy and quick access to their save Tweets that they like to revisit later. Before, this update this could be acheived by liking a tweet.
Not only saving, but Twitter is also making sharing better, too with a new “share” icon now shown on every Tweet, so you can easily bookmark a Tweet, share via Direct Message, or share off of Twitter any number of ways.
Below you can see a GIF animation of the new Bookmarks featue:
How to Bookmarl a Tweet?
To bookmark you just need to click or tap the new share icon beneath a tweet and then select, “Add Tweet to Bookmarks”. This new icon is now placed at where a DM icon was located previously.
And, Bookmarks aren’t publicly viewable, it’s only you who can view them or have access—To revisit the tweet later, just tap “Bookmarks” from the profile icon menu. Of course, at any time, twitter allows removing bookmarked tweets.
Alongside the debut of Bookmarks, Twitter is also enabling people to share a tweet via direct message, share it elsewhere outside of Twitter, or bookmark it.
Bookmarks are now rolling out globally on Twitter for iOS and Android, Twitter Lite, and mobile.twitter.com.
