A new theme park called the “Wizarding World of Harry Potter” is opening at the Universal Orlando Resort this summer on June 18. For muggles who’ve read every book cover-to-cover and watched every movie at least twice, this’s exciting news. Wizarding World of Harry Potter will re-create much of the setting of “Harry Potter” books and movies, including the town of Hogsmeade and the park’s central feature, Hogwarts Castle — site of Harry’s alma mater, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. If you’re one of the legions of fans who’ve longed to immerse yourself in Harry Potter universe, grab your broomstick — or perhaps a flight — and head on down to Orlando. In the meantime, a new slide show on Bing teases the coming attractions. The park will include re-creations of Hogwarts Castle, Hogwarts Express train and Hogsmeade shops. You can even try butter beer! Plus there’ll be some great rides, too. Although slide show just has artist’s renderings for now (real thing’s still being built), it’s enough to get you excited about what’s to come.
