Bing Kicks Off December Festivity, Turns Homepage into Holiday Calendar, 12 Days of Holiday Deals

Kindness and goodwill can happen all the time—Bing officially begins the end of the year count down by launching the holiday homepage calendar starting on December 1, starts with celebrating the work of Mercy Corps.

Starting the festivity, this December Bing transforming its homepage into a delight-delivery device with each day will reveal a new seasonal treat. Users need to just “click the gift icon to turn on the holiday calendar, then come back to Bing each day to discover what daily holiday wonders await,” bing said.

The holiday wonders available include as the ability to customize with festive decorations your Bing homepage, share beautiful holiday images and ecards, as well as winter-themed games, and music to make your days merry and bright and more .

Additionally, Bing will be highlighting six nonprofits that works with them on special days in the Bing holiday homepage calendar throughout the month and starts off with Mercy Corps on Dec. 1. The users will be asked to share their support for these nonprofits when you click on the special giving days from the calendar.

Also, in the U.S. Microsoft gave away free holiday albums through the Windows Store until 11:59 p.m. PT, Dec. 2, 2016 (or while supplies last) to all Groove Music Pass subscribers.

Albums include those from Justin Bieber; Ariana Grande; Mary J. Blige; the classic album from Vince Guaraldi Trio, “A Charlie Brown Christmas;” Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s “Dreams of Fireflies (On A Christmas Night)” and more.

If you aren’t a Groove Music Pass subscriber, you can sign up a free 30-day trial account HERE, and start listening today on your Windows 10 devices. Those who sign up before December 31, “will get an additional three months of free service from Microsoft.”

Microsoft Stores getting into the holiday spirit with the begining of its official annual 12 Days of Deals starting Dec. 5 through Dec. 16 with savings run on Surface, Xbox, PCs and more while supplies last with in-store.

During these 12–days, Microsoftstore.com shoppers will also be getting free standard shipping on all orders with “guaranteed delivery” by Dec. 24, and Dec. 14 as “standard ground service”, or Dec. 20 by 9:59 a.m. PT “expedited shipping.”

In-store offers starts with the time the store opens until close, while Microsoftstore.com deals begin at 12 a.m. PT each day and last for 24 hours.

According to report, “Facebook posts appearing in knowledge panels on the right side of Bing search results page for certain brands and businesses.” These are presented in a card-style format which shows the two most recent posts from the business’s Facebook page.
