Last fall, Bing Ads launched an update improving multi-account management with multi-linking, today, a new way helping you to save time when managing multiple accounts and achieve more with Bing Ads is launhced.
With today’s launch advertisers can use one email address and password to access all their customers accounts in Bing Ads. To consolidate access of multiple user names advertisers will need to contact their account manager or support. This setup is useful for agency’s that wants to keep separate accounts per client, but also want to give individual clients their own user names to access Bing Ads for visibility and transparency, says the team.
Alternatively, you can begin with accepting user invitations from others to gain multi-user access, or you can also create new and separate Bing Ads accounts by using current user name.
See the screen shot of multiple user access accounts available for user login:
Note, when consolidating access into one user name for multi-user access, “you still require to use old user name with tool providers and for API access as Bing Ads API version 11 doesn’t support multi-user credentails across multiple customers,” says the team.
Bing Ads API Version 12 will start allowing of accessing accounts across multiple customers with the multi-user credentials.
What Does Multi-user Access Allow?
- Manage one email address and password for all accounts. This means no need to manage multiple email addresses and passwords anymore.
- Switch between customers with ease. You can go from one customer shell to another all from one email address and password.
- Add customers at any time. When you’re invited to access new customer shells, you can use your existing email address and password to add them.
-View information about all the customers you have access to
-Manage your defaults
-Remove access to any customer
-Select a customer to view in drop-down menu (right)
Lastly, bing notes more announcements in multi-account management will be coming soon!
