In other adCenter releated news, Microsoft Advertising introduces “Notification Icons and Improved Account Search” to adCenter desktop upgrade.
“The difference between managing your campaigns via adCenter on the web versus using the adCenter Desktop is akin to the difference between doing long division by hand versus using a calculator. Sure, both get the job done, but one of them is far faster and a more efficient use of your time,” explained Tina Kelleher.
“Notifications icons and clear messages provide current account and campaign level status, and tell you instantly when any issues, warnings, or potential opportunities exist. Account level alerts indicate when an account is inactive due to IO expiration, budget depletion, credit card expiration or account deletion,” informed Kelleher.
Kelleher notes “Entity level notifications provide visual and descriptive indications of all campaign, ad group, or keyword related errors , warnings , information , and opportunities . Notification types are sortable so you can focus on the most critical items first.”
“Customers syncing very large accounts (+1GB data) will receive a message offering performance optimizing sync suggestions, and an automatic system tune-up (I.E. performance impacting settings and features, such as the Dashboard, are turned-off).”
Account Search: You can now find and download only the accounts you want to work with. Search for your account by customer name, account name, account number or ID. Only selected accounts will be downloaded to your local computer saving time and system resources,” Kelleher said.
