Ben Q rolled out a couple of Intel Centrino Duo Mobile notebooks at CeBIT, the Joybook S73 and Joybook S61. The S73 (pictured at left) has a 14.1-inch screen driven by ATI X1600 graphics, and with its DVI-D output and enhanced speakers, it might find a place in a home theater as well as on the road. It offers what the company calls “embedded digital TV function,” which is a DVB-T digital TV tuner for European and Asian users. Americans will have to wait for an ATSC version.
The Joybook S61 has a similar specs but weighs less—3.3 pounds—and has a 12.1-inch widescreen. Despite its small size, it has a full-sized keyboard. It also has that digital TV tuner for Europeans and Asians. Pricing and availability weren’t announced. Technorati Tags : BenQ, Rolls, Out, Two, Centrino, Duo, Laptops
