The support for various browsers keeps getting more and more mature with the Ajax frameworks. Backbase just talked about their browser support progress and has made available a playground at playground.backbase.com for us to point our narly browsers at.
To provide interested parties with a sneak preview and to get the Backbase community involved in testing and development, Backbase has made available a playground site: http://playground.backbase.com
The playground contains major parts of the Backbase DevNet including the Backbase Explorer and other demos. On top of the already supported browsers, the playground is accessible from:
- Opera 9 beta (http://www.opera.com/download/index.dml?ver=9.0b).
- Safari / WebKit nightly build (http://nightly.webkit.org/).
- Mozilla Minimo previews (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/minimo/).
Supporting the above mentioned browsers is a joint effort between Backbase and the browser development teams. Backbase has been involved in testing and even made code contributions during alpha and beta phases. Backbase now welcomes its community to join this effort by testing the playground and reporting issues to either Backbase or the browser development teams.
