Microsoft announces the Artist Studio Series for the Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500, a brand new collection of mice with artwork commissioned by five premier artists from around the world: “Kirra Jamison (Melbourne, AU), Matt Moore (Portland, ME), Linn Olofsdotter (Portland, OR by way of Sweden), Mike Perry (Brooklyn, NY), and Jonny Wan (Sheffield, UK).”
“This project has long been a dream of the Microsoft Hardware Design team. We’ve had a running list of favorite artists and illustrators going for month before we kicked off the project–names we discovered through gallery shows, print graphics, fashion & lifestyle collaborations, and design blogs,” revealed Lindsey Kujawski, User Experience Designer.
“We were thrilled that these amazing artists were up for the collaboration. We gave them the mouse as their blank canvas and let them unleash their artistic style. The result is a diverse and expressive collection.”
Now you can have a piece of real artwork with you whether you’re working or playing at the office or on-the-go, as the collection will be available next month for $29.95.
“Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 Studio Series — Artist Edition is a brand new collection of Wireless Mobile Mouse 3500 graphics, designed by five premier artists from around the world,” the company added.
“Their diverse range of styles and perspectives are showcased in six different patterns, which form an exciting and fresh collection.”
If you’d like a closer look at all the patterns in the new collection or some background on the group of artists, please visit the Artist Edition website.
