Apple traditionally held events “music” to present news related to iPod and iTunes Store in September, but MacMagazine tipped of that “Apple will hold a conference on August 16th or 17th”. Unless, of course, Apple wants to separate the iPod touch (only iPod that runs iOS) from the rest of the line – leaving updates on classic iPods, nano and shuffle to the next month.
This goes in line with recent circulation of a news; the August event will focus “the new iPod touch (possibly with front camera for FaceTime and rear lens similar to the iPhone 3G – but with flash – plus the addition of a gyroscope) and the arrival of the iOS for April iPad. Past rumors have indicated that the iOS would arrive in April for first iPhones / iPod touch only being ported to IPAD in version 4.1.”
Furthermore, a 64 bit version of the iLife suite is set for release, it may include iPhoto, GarageBand and iWeb. And, a “mystery” app is also set to be added to the package, at the expense of the iDvd app that be may be heading for separate download like the iMovie HD app.
