Afeeda is a new feed aggregator service that lets you create your own feeds for personalized updates that are delivered directly to you. With afeeda, you can make a personal, group or event feed, all of which aggregate the feeds you’d like to pull information from. Personal feeds aggregate info from your own created content, such as your Flickr and blog accounts, while group feeds can be used for content from any source, and event feeds are self explanatory.
An aggregated feed can be created with RSS or OPML, and can be added to with afeeda’s bookmarking browser add-on. Once you’ve created your “feed of feeds,” afeeda gives you the option of narrowing down your feed results by tag words, which are provided by the feed’s creator. This is one of the most useful options for afeeda, as this search filter is where the true value in aggregation services lies.
