Google begun rolling out a new user interface for AdSense, which was announced in October last year, now when you log in to your account, you’ll be automactically redirect ot the new UI, google said.
The new UI, which is inspired by its Material Design principles highlights the most relevant information to you on a personalized homepage and streamlines navigation. The new AdSense UI brings the following features: “a fresh new look & feel with completely redesigned homepage and menu, inspired by companies material design principles,” “A new streamlined left hand menu.”
The new homepage, organized into a stream of interactive cards, allow you to pin your favorites to the top of the stream, and you can also arrange the homepage just the way you’d like.
In addition, Google is rolling out a “Ad balance” subtab under My ads in the AdSense, is a new feature that give publishers more control to create a great ads experience for users.
What eactlly does Ad balance do? As Google explains, “Ad balance helps publishers find the right balance between the number of ads shown and the user experience” for a better overall engagement with content on your site. Thus helping in reducing the number of ads show to users.
With Ad balance, “you can instantly see how reducing the volume of ads on site, affect your earnings, and you will be able to find the balance for optimized earnings and user experience,” Google said. Adding, “By showing best-performing ads, a minimal drop in earnings may happen. However, since the changes will improve user experience leading them to stay longer and engaging with contents on your site, “will result in overall increase in your earnings”.”
