Microsoft Advertising just announced the November 2011 Update of adCenter Desktop. “November 2011 Desktop Update brings with it a milestone: as of this release, the Desktop is now officially out of Beta!,” announced Tina Kelleher.
Here is a quick walk-through of what’s new in this release:
A new Welcome Screen takes you on an end-to-end tour of the Desktop tool to help you get setup and started fast. Learn about new features and how to get the most from them.
Clipboard Support enables basic copy and paste functionality so that you can quickly and easily copy data and move it to, from, and within Desktop.
Datagrid and Edit Pane Updates improve the way you work within the datagrid and edit pane-simplifying common tasks and allowing you to get more done in less time.
Bulk Bid Suggestions offer more than 1,000 keywords and let you easily apply changes.
Default Location Targeting
Targeting is simplified with a default based on your account location (determined by the language listed in your Desktop settings). Additionally, the “Import Campaigns Beta feature has been expanded to allow you to easily and directly import your Google AdWords campaign data into Desktop.”
