Ace Computer at CES will be demonstrating, platforms centered around the use of Microsoft Windows Home Server.
- New Home Servers/Media Storage Platforms: Ace’ll demo attractive small form factor products running WHS software. Designed as a repository for a digital home$B!G(Bs content, these’ll retail under $1000. We’ll also show storage ranging from ultra small and quiet to enterprise grade with nearly 50TB capacity.
- New Award Winning Media Server Platforms: Ace’ll demo new and innovative media server platforms including: ACE AMS 350 and LHS 400. Both models’re low cost units and operate on Intel Core i3/i5 platforms and utilize Windows 7 Media Center with new Ceton Corporation Multi-Channel Digital Cable Tuner and will break $1500 retail price point for 4 channel Digital Cable Tuner Equipped Media Servers. AMS 350 is available now, and Ceton Multi-Channel Card will be available in Q1. Also, all media server platforms in LHD, LMS, Vision and LHS Lines’ll be refreshed to being capable of receiving multiple CableCard tuners.
- New Technology Demonstration: Will demo new AMS 350 equipped with 2 Ceton Corporation Multi-Channel Digital Cable Tuners with 4 tuners per card for a grand total of 8 tuners connected to live Cable TV Feeds and will show how easy WMC has become with Windows 7 and Digital Cable Advisor built into Windows 7 MC. We would anticipate a price point under $2000 for this system.
