Google Mobile team recently done a survey of YouTube Mobile users and received >16,000 responses. Here’re the results:
- 75% say mobile is their primary way of accessing YouTube
- 70% visit YouTube Mobile at least once a day
- 58% spend over 20 minutes per visit
- 38% feel that YouTube Mobile is replacing their desktop YouTube
According to Nielsen, YouTube Mobile is #1 video viewing mobile website in the US, with > 7.1MM monthly unique users. “Advertisers can now own 100% share-of-voice on YouTube Mobile by purchasing a daily roadblock and owning all available ad impressions for 24 hrs. Ads run on Search, Browse and Home pages of mobile website.
