Digital Anarchy, also known as “Mys Videl” has taken the next step in Zune-Linux. She has launched the official Zune-Linux website, which can be found here. Why the new name? Mys Videl explains, “I’ve adopted this new psuedo name because the Mys Videl thing being all over google scares me, as I’ve personally shared that with LPX.” She has recently gotten much more publicity than expected, which she is uncomfortable with. According to her, they have made some progress, but they do not know when they will be able to release it to the public. Mys Videl: “We currently have it booting. Yet we don’t have much beyond that. We havn’t made anything of this nature before so there are quite a few problems involved with the programming that we didn’t forsee. The boot method is not yet stable and will require work, we will keep you updated as time progresses.”
Mys Videl is the lead Media Director and the Debugger of Zune-Linux. X, who is the leader of the project, states, “Zune Linux needs a bit of polishing in order for it to be ready for a public release. Bijoux (Mys Videl) has made major progress in getting the Zune to run a distro but there is still much work to be done.
