Earlier in the day, Google debuted updated YouTube mobile experience, using HTML5 to offer a mobile site that sports better video quality and (soon) more content than the native YouTube iPhone application and it works on other smart phones as well:
“Google rolled out “YouTube Leanback or YouTube TV,” a version of YouTube optimized for watching content on TV set, or when you’re sitting few feet away from desktop computer. When you visit, the site immediately start playing videos from a feed of suggestions, based on videos you’ve liked or your friends sharing on Facebook, (if you’re not logged in it play videos currently most popular on site).
To skip to next video in the playlist, you hit the right arrow on your keyboard. Want to navigate to a different genre of clips? Hit up/down arrow to search, access player controls, and scroll through channels and videos.”
