Margaret Gould Stewart of YouTube recently gave a TED talk about how YouTube's Content ID system cross-references over 20 hours of uploaded content a minute with rights holder database to give copyright owners choices. In the video below, she shows how Content ID technology works and explains, "The scale and speed of the system is breathtaking… We're talking about over a hundred of years of video a day.
