Google is adding two new buttons in partners interface on YouTube that’ll give its partners more control over blocking of video content they upload. First button reads ‘Block by Country’ and provides content partners an ability to geo-block a single video rather than an entire account. Second button reads ‘Enable Auto Block outside Ownership’ and addresses a problem that YouTube partners’ve with duplicate videos that get uploaded to service without their explicit consent. Until now, process to claim video ownership and have them blocked was long & cumbersome, apparently this feature enables uploaders to automatically block duplicates with just one click.
