Xbox One S Madden NFL 17 & Halo Bundle Plus Xbox Onesie Is Now Available

Xbox Australia team this week announced a limited edition 'Xbox Onesie' to celebrate the launch of the Xbox One S console 500 GB and 1TB SKUs in their market.

The 'Xbox Onesie' has been designed in collaboration with some of the country's biggest film, TV, gaming and sports fans with custom features including enlarged pockets to fit controllers, forearm grips and an XL hood to accommodate headsets.

In additon, the 'Xbox Onesie' comes with everything an entertainment enthusiast could need when streaming a favorite TV show or film, watching sports or embarking on the ultimate gaming session.

Xbox One S Madden NFL 17 Bundle 1TB

In the meantime, the new Xbox One S, available in select markets at most local retailers, as well as to celebrate the upcoming start of the NFL regular season on Sept. 8–the new Xbox One S Madden NFL 17 Bundle (1TB) is available today from Microsoft and select retailers.

In partnership with EA SPORTS, announced back in June, "we're offering the Xbox One S Madden NFL 17 Bundle for fans in the U.S. and Canada," the Xbox team stated.

NFL 17 Bundle is packed with everything a football fan needs to get ready for the season, alongwith with the following features:

  • 1TB Xbox One S console
  • Xbox Wireless Controller
  • Madden NFL 17 full game download
  • 7 Madden Ultimate Team Pro Packs
  • 1-month EA Access, revealed Xbox team.

Also, starting today, the new Xbox One S Halo Collection Bundle is now available with a 500GB or 1TB Xbox One S, matching Xbox Wireless Controller and five games between Halo 5: Guardians and Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Both the 500GB and 1TB hard drive options for the Xbox One Halo Collection Bundle will be available at participating retailers, including Microsoft Stores, in the U.S., Canada, Australia and New Zealand for $299 USD and $349 USD, respectively.

Where in the U.S., the 1TB hard drive option will only be available in very limited quantities at select Microsoft Stores and microsoftstore.com.

The Xbox One S Halo Collection Bundle includes:

Additonally, the company has announced the "App Dev on Xbox" live online event that's taking place on August 30th at 9:00am PST and it is open to everyone.

The all day event will be covering the new Anniversary Update SDK capabilities that enable you to build great app experiences for the TV and across other device form factors.

The event will cover topics around:

  • Anniversary Update SDK and getting started with app development on Xbox One
  • deep dive into developing apps using both XAML and Web technologies
  • guidance for designing and creating impressive TV experiences and
  • submitting your apps via the Dev Center to all UWP devices including the Xbox

Windows 10 Anniversary Update was released earlier this month, alongside the Windows 10 Anniversary Update SDK, build 14393.

Since, Anniversary Update is available on all Windows 10 devices, including PCs, phones, Xbox Ones, IoT boards and more.

The Anniversary Update SDK is everything developers need to start building UWP applications that, for the first time ever, also target Xbox One consoles.

And that's not all: with upcoming Dev Center features, "developers will be able to submit apps for Xbox One among other devices," the company said..

Update 08/26: Xbox One Preview Program getting a new build rs1_xbox_rel_1608.160824-1140, that among others will add "Cortana" support to additional regions.

NEW FEATURES

Cortana

  • Cortana is now available in France, Italy, Germany, and Spain.

If you live in these regions and would like to begin using Cortana, just follow the steps below:

  • Launch the Guide and navigate to All Settings.
    Navigate to System > Cortana Settings.
    When prompted, select "I agree" to enable Cortana.

You can launch Cortana from My games & apps or snap Cortana from the Guide. To learn a few commands, just say "Hey Cortana, what can I say?" in your language.

If you decide to opt out of Cortana, just repeat the steps above to toggle Cortana On/Off. Opting out of Cortana will re-enable the Xbox legacy voice commands.
