Forbes reports that Microsoft has delayed the feature into spring of next year, citing a desire to ensure a smooth launch of the New Xbox Experience in November.

The original plan was to launch Xbox Live Primetime along with all the other new features in the Xbox 360 dashboard overhaul, with 1 vs. 100 (yes, that Bob Saget show) announced as the premier game show. At the time it was announced, Xbox Live corporate VP John Schappert called it "the best of television and the best of games," which only further cemented Microsoft's intentions to not only compete against other games with the service, but against primetime television as well.
