Microsoft released a test drive engine that you can use to test drive Windows Vista SP1 online. You don’t need to install any software (unless you are not up to date with Active X.) Before taking the tour, view a screenshot tour before continuing.

Visit the site, enter your e-mail address, and the tour begins (Internet Explorer). Select Category to learn about from the following: Safer, Easier, Reliable, or Versatile. After selecting a category, press Enter. Read About Windows Vista’s Features – Select an icon which corresponds to what you want to learn about. Watch Videos to Learn About Vista’s Features — You can then watch videos or read more about the features that are unique to Windows Vista. Demo Windows Vista’s Desktop — Some selections let you open a demo desktop where you can select a lot of the options on the screen.
