Microsoft posted news about a Windows Summit 2010 – a special event designed for hardware & software designers, developers, engineers, testers and other technology professionals who want to learn how to build great products on Windows 7. Originally, it was to take place at Microsoft Campus in Redmond, WA, but now been made an online event. Here’s the schedule: May 25th – Device Track: Discover rich customization features in Win7 that enables partners to create custom user experience for PC or device. Targeted at software & device firmware engineers, this track will provide the direction & technical info to unlock the power of Win7 to create great device experience. June 2nd – System track: Understand features of Wind7 that you can leverage to create & deliver best system possible. You’ll see how implementing few fundamental techniques can dramatically improve overall system quality & key user experiences. June 16th – Software track: Win7 platform makes it easy for developers to create engaging, user-friendly applications by providing familiar tools & rich development features that allow them to take advantage of latest PC capabilities. Sessions in this track guide you through key developer advances in fundamentals, richer application experiences, and best of Windows and Web.
