Up until recently if you wanted your Media Center record your cable channels, you had to buy an certified Windows Media Center. That changed when Microsoft opened up the platform allowing to build MC that rely on CableCard. Ceton are now taking pre-orders on a PCIe card that allow you to record up to 4 HD streams at once. The new card is $399 and is expected to start shipping today. Ed Graczyk stopped by with one of the cards and tells us a little more about it.
