Neil Wang, Developer, presented an overview of the Windows AD Protocol Test Suite release at the 2011 Active Directory Windows Protocols Plugfest. He covered that architecture of the test suites and provided examples that demonstrate how the test suite libraries are used to implement these model based test tools available from Microsoft for Interoperability Testing.

Xiao Lu Liu, Developer, presented an overview of model based testing used to implement the Windows AD protocol test suits at the 2011 Active Directory Windows Protocols Plugfest. The implementation and architecture of the MS-LSAT test suite were described. MS-LSAT test cases running against a Windows 2008 R2 DC were demonstrated as well.
Albert Lee, Developer, presented the Windows MS-SMB2 protocol test suite at the 2010 File Sharing Windows Protocols Plugfest. Background, implementation and architecture of the test suite were described. The SMB2 state model including connection, session, request, treeconnect, share, open and file commands are covered. Test case code including key scenarios that result in synthetic traffic generation were explained.

The purpose and background of the tools is described as well as the implementation and architecture of the test suite. The model for the protocol states explored is covered as well.
