Microsoft usually sells the Windows 7 Home Premium upgrade licence for $A199 as a download, or $A221.99 with a disc. There's also the Anytime Upgrade from Starter to Premium at $A140. But in a "while stocks last" Christmas promotion, the company is offering a family pack that can be used to upgrade 3 PCs to Windows 7 Home Premium for $A249.

The pack includes 32 and 64-bit versions of Windows 7 Home Premium, and can be used to upgrade existing Windows 7 installations to Home Premium, or XP or Vista installations to Windows 7.

The pack is available from Microsoft or at Bing Lee, Dick Smith, The Good Guys, Harvey Norman, JB HI-FI, Officeworks and WOW Sight & Sound (price may vary).
