Cuddly plumbers, lovely dinosaurs, pretty princesses and a large helping of delightful pocket-monsters, all mown-down in a hail of gunfire from Tony Montana's 'little friend'. Yes, boys and girls, Scarface is en route to the Wii console, delivering a decidedly adult smattering of action to a platform holder traditionally associated with the family end of the spectrum.
The arrival of Scarface comes as sales of Red Steel continue to do well, despite mixed reviews for the Wii's only adult-themed launch title. A new version of EA's The Godfather will also be adding further hoodlum fun on the format, with UK mag N-Gamer revealing the title as their cover story this month.
Scarface: The World is Yours was released on the Xbox and PS2 last year, although an Xbox 360 version has been axed despite a new PSP version being confirmed. Like Red Steel, we're told Scarface will use the Wii remote as an aiming device on-screen, the Wiimote will also be swung wildly during an infamous re-make of the chainsaw scene, and you'll be able to hear the saw's familiar rasp from the controller's built-in speaker.
