  • Pepco’s Storm Center application allows users to see where outages are occurring in different postal codes.
  • Georgia Power’s web-based GIS tool lets you view and analyze information about their assets on Microsoft Virtual Earth.
  • Con Edison New York’s Storm Central application allows users to view where outages are on the map.
  • Entergy added more data to their storm center application that serves huge areas: Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.
  • MetroPCS extended their use of Virtual Earth to their coverage map application so you can see where their cell coverage is for their services.
  • iFactor Consulting has released “Virtual Earth Connector”. By using Spatial Object Manager (SOM) technology, the Virtual Earth Connector enables the use of street and aerial images from Virtual Earth in any Smallworld-based application.
