"Twitter" and Vine launched a new mobile service (app) for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch that lets you capture and share short looping videos (6 seconds or less) across the social networking including Twitter and Facebook.
So, why "Twitter and Vine," it is becuase Vine has now been acquired by the microblogging site Twitter, "(W)e're happy to share the news that Vine has been acquired by Twitter," Vine announced.
"Our companies share similar values and goals; like Twitter, we want to make it easier for people to come together to share and discover what's happening in the world. We also believe constraint inspires creativity, whether it's through a 140-character Tweet or a six-second video," Vine added.
