Tranquil PC released a critical update for their SQA-5H Home Server and SQA-EX Expansion Enclosure. The update consists of a BIOS upgrade for the server's SATA Controller, which according to the company fixes a serious issue whereby hard drives can become disconnected from the server, causing potential data loss. It is recommended that all SQA-5H owners install the update as a precaution. The update fixes reported 'occasional' dropping HDDs from the SQA-5H server and SQA-Ex storage devices. The Tranquil BBS2 Barebones is also affected by the bug, if running Windows Home Server.

A USB Flash key is required to complete the upgrade.
