T-Mobile USA has launched a new slogan, "American's largest 4G network", features a woman as "T-Mobile myTouch 4G" and a man who calls himself the "iPhone 4". The advertising campaign attacks AT&T and Apple's iPhone 4 for only allowing video calls over Wi-Fi.
T-Mobile's claims are bold as HSPA+ isn't considered a full 4G network. The International Telecommunications Union claims that most current WiMAX and LTE standards do not qualify as 4G technologies and has suggested that carriers back down from the claims.
T-Mobile is launching two new Android powered devices alongside the new ad campaign. The first is myTouch 4G, featured in the commercial, and the other is a 4G netbook, "Dell Inspiron Mini 10 4G."
