A Tuaw reader sent an email that was reportedly from Steve Jobs, where in the reader asked if there was a way he could transfer his Google Docs to his iPad through iWork.com or iDisk. Jobs' reply? "Yes." (see screenshot). In another email, a reader Julio R. asked asked Jobs if the iPhone will ever get a ‘universal email inbox’ to help manage multiple email accounts at once, instead of having to switch between them. Jobs answered with nothing more than, "Yep," which leads one to assume that the feature will make its debut in the iPhone OS 4.0 (which will most likely be released in a few months), or possibly in a release of the mobile operating system which could coincide with the launch of the iPad on April 3.
