Microsoft has punlished a update that improves the stability and reliability of Windows 7 and of Windows Server 2008 R2. The update was released in October 2009.
Windows 7 Service Pack 1 also includes all the stability and reliability updates, as well as the application compatibility refreshes that have been delivered so far by the Redmond company.
Third-party sources claim that Windows 7 SP1 is extremely close to being released to manufacturing, with RTM Candidate Builds already put together. And, that the Windows 7 SP1 Build 6.1.7601.171257.101210-1930, v.741, revealing that the software giant compiled it on December 10th, 2010 is leaked to the web.
