VAIO Z and VAIO Y Series laptops will come with Sony's embedded wireless technology called "Share My Connection (SMC)," that lets you turn a laptop into a mobile wireless access point that can connect up to five other PCs or networked devices.

VAIO Z is a killer 13" premium PC. It weighs about 3lbs and comes with option to include some pretty specs, like a 1600 x 900 resolution display (better than many 15" and 17" notebooks!), Blu-Ray, Windows 7 Ultimate up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of SSD storage.

Y series is a more mainstream 13" machine that comes in a range of colors – similar to E Series – such as black, pear green, blue teal, fuchsia pink and purple violet. Its only an inch thick starts at a very reasonable $770.
