Skype Preview app for Windows Phone 8, which features a modern design and comes with full video chat support is now available on Windows Phone Store.
The app is similar to the one on Windows 8 because it allows users to receive chats and notifications for voice/video calls even if you are using another app or the phone is locked. Using a modern interface as well as limited battery drain, Skype also features a resizable live-tile on your homescreen.
"Skype notifications can be added to the lock screen to appear alongside missed calls, unread emails and text messages, so there's no need to unlock your phone to check if you've missed a message or call in Skype," Microsoft stated.

In another Windows Phone tv advert, Microsoft fouces around the idea of having Windows Phone 8 "reinvented around you." Check it out:
"The new Windows Phone is the only phone with Live Tiles, designed to keep you closer to what matters most. Pin your favorite people, apps and more. Arrange your Start screen just how you want it and see everything that's going on, as it happens," reads the video description.
"Only Windows Phone has Live Apps-- a delightful innovation that makes apps easy to use and more amazing than ever. They bring the information you want right to your Start screen. Windows Phone is the smart phone built not for all of us, but for each of us. It's the smartphone reinvented around you," Microsoft added.
Microsoft last month announced of making available a Preview version of Internet Explorer 10 for Windows 7 -- now, the company has posted the download links:

The release dates of the final version of IE10 for Windows 7 has not yet been announced.
